@silpol: That was mean considering that large swathes of Eastern Europe as well as Northern America is rural with it's political implications on national level (think Vladimir Putin, George Bush).
Singapore is not that bad, lots of green also. Think smaller countries like Monaco (never been there). Less urban the better. I should move to Laos:-) it was amazing.

@jounikjuntunen that's true, singapore does a great job of keeping some "nature" to balance the urbanization. i'm an urban girl at heart though, i don't think i can stay in a really rural place (for a vacation, yes; for extended periods of time, no)
@jkniiv: it is not about making whole country urban, it is about having urban centers (like US has NYC and LAC). Having whole country as huge village is fun until... it gets clear it is like pea soup every Thursday and no exception, for rest of your life.
@silpol: Ok, ok. But you could say Finland is married to a huge urban center in the form of St. Petersburg of Russia. It was built on the Ingrian Finnish bog land, you know. :)

@jkniiv ahem... that was to say that word "urban" is very difficult to apply to any locality in Finland

@silpol: Very few countries are urban thru and thru, so I don't see your point really. :/
