In Helsinki the sun rises at 9:15 AM and goes down 3:10. But since it's cloudy and the sun stays quite low anyway, it's pretty dark all the time. I think in average we get something like 25 hours of sunlight in December.
This dark time sux big time. I have lived 33 years here now and every year has been hard. Every year I swear I will be somewhere warm and sunny at this time but has failed every time.
nap time, can't upload this damn document. damn you Finland, you're supposed to have the best network in the world, why can't you do seamless handoffs at 160 km/h?

according to fmi.fi we have 5 hours and 56 minutes today, which sounds a bit on the high side to me.
