Its a pity, especially since they were all of 100 years old. I still don't know if this is Nortel US/Canada only. I am presuming its worldwide. I know some people working there. I hope they are going to be ok.
Obviously Nortel didn't bother to talk to Government early enough or had incompetent lobbyist. I'm happy to see that some signs of market economy still exists.
well, Nortel had been junk stock for last couple of years, last few moths their shares were jittering under USD 1.00 but now they have only two ways -- finally closed shop, or survive in very hard way
